The Norman Oliver collection. Norman Oliver was three times Mayor of Bendigo - 1950-51, 1964-65, 1970-71. Sixteen pages of typed notes headed the Mayoral Report 1 August 1951.Topics include : council finances, the Health report, public conveniences, land for the School for Deaf Children, the width of roads, the Charing Cross bridge, and traffic control lights.
