BHS present an award to a student who has contributred to and excelled in the studyof history in Year 10 at the College. This award was initiated by member Fred Smith, who spent many hours talking to and assisting students at the college and from this year, during which Fred Smith died, is now awarded as the Fred Smith Memorial History Prize.
