Black and white photograph of Victorian house with shrubs and trees. Steps leading up to verandah, decorative lace work on verandah and ornamentation on roof. Inscriptions: on back - hand printed 'Burrowes Home, Myrtle Street. Now defaced by additional dormitories at Girton College. The two trees in front were planted by the Princes on their visit to Bendigo to 'open the Alexandra Fountain'. Royal Historical society of Victoria, Bendigo Branch circular stamp on reverse, 'Kindon, Myrtle St'.
