Black and white reproduction of photograph from 'Back to Eaglehawk' book, October 1928'. Group of students from Sailor's Gully State School. Inscriptions: on front - circular stamp 'RHSV, Bendigo Branch', 'It was the boom days of gold minding that the Sailors Gully School was first established; in fact, today the school is much too large for the number of children attending. There are 75 on the roll. Mr Charles R. Rustin is the head master, and he is assisted by Misses EG Pedlar and MA Rosan. (This is under the image at front).
