A Bendigo Advertiser article titled 'A Matter of Civic Pride'. It describes in detail the history and description of the Bendigo Mayoral Chain and Coat-of-arms. Included is a photo of Cr. D.E. Elliott wearing the Mayoral Chain. Mr. Reg. Buck was responsible for the information after much research. Bendigo Advertiser 11/11/71.
