Three letters in an envelope. The first from the Australian Broadcasting Commission dated 2nd February, 1954 requesting Misses Gertrude Perry and Valda Young to attend Broadcast House at 11.30 am on Wednesday, February 17th, 1954 for an audition. The second also from the ABC dated March 4th, 1954 advising Miss Perry that the test was successful and that her name was added to their list of artists for future engagement. The third letter dated March 10th, 1954 is from Miss Perry and Miss Young to the Manager ABC, in reference to the letter of 4th March asking if the preliminary interview could be on a Saturday as their are business girls with work commitments.
