Bendigo Advertiser "The way we were" from 1999. Quick and Hyett: circa 1908. Barkly Hyett attended a private school until 1871, and then trained as a lawyer with a prominent Sandhurst firm. After successfully completing his training he formed a partnership in 1893 with Sir John Quick.
