Bendigo Advertiser "The way we were" from 1999. Norfolk Brewery: the Sayers brothers established the Norfolk Brewery in Bridge Street, Sandhurst in 1856. They sold their ales as far away as Inglewood. In 1867, Charles and James Sayers dissolved their partnership. Charles survived the death of his brother in 1862.
