Bendigo Advertiser "The way we were" from Thursday, November 11, 2004. Winners: Marong Tennis Club had good reason to celebrate in the early 1940s when it won the Marong and District Bendigo Advertiser Shield. Team members were: Back - P. Anthony, R. Rawiller, M.
