Bendigo Advertiser "The way we were" from Friday, April 23, 2004. Love in hard times: there was a simple hand written inscription on the back of this photograph. It said "the marriage of LAC John Summers RAAF, to sapper Yvonne Gledhill, Army, Fortuna, 28 May, 1945. By Father Thomas at St Killians, with army girls in the background".
