Bendigo Advertiser "The way we were" from Saturday, April 9, 2005. Ploughing: a 1928 Detroit model Fordson tractor pulls a four-furrow plough with a cut of exactly one metre. This Plough was made in Bendigo by the Ironbark firm of Golden City Machinery. The old foundry still stands in Ironbark as a tribute to the blacksmiths and workers.
