Postcard, WW1, B&W image of Krieger-Denkmal (War Memorial) erected by the Germans at Chareroi in Belgium to celebrate a victory in August 1914. It is a stone tower with the city behind it. Wreaths placed at the base and 'August 1914' inscribed at the top plinth. In 1920, after the War, it was blown up.
