Textiles. Fine linen fabric, white in colour. A 19 cm wide panel of fabric has been sewn to the top of the cover and is edged on three sides with finely embroidered broderie anglaise featuring a circular, six petalled flower impression. A panel of the same broderie runs through the centre of the panel and is bordered by a band of three pin-tucks on each side. An envelope of the linen fabric backs the bolster pillow.
