Physical description
Photograph of the German State School old boys 1845-1880 and their teacher Mr A H Williams. Photograph was taken July 1911. School was located in Violet St Bendigo. Black and White photograph of a group of 32 men posed formally in four rows. Some are standing, some are sitting on chairs and some are seated cross legged on the floor. All are dressed in dark suits with waistcoats. On the reverse are pencilled the words "Violet St Bendigo German State School old boys 1845 - 1880 and their teacher Mr A H Williams (taken July 1911)'.
