Invitation to a special meeting of St Kilda Council on 11 March 1957 at St Kilda City Hall to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Council meeting.

Invitation in the form of a typed letter from the General Secretary of the Melbourne Swimming Club,, L M (Les) Phillips to attend a picture night at Leonards Cafe Baths on Monday 29 August. The films shown included films of the 1948 London Olympics and other films of swimming and general interest. The year of the event is unspecified. It could have been 1949 or 1955. The Club was established in 1894 and is not the same as the present day competitive swimming club of that name.

Invitation to a lecture on the Melbourne Metropolitan Planning Scheme, presented by the City of St Kilda, at the St Kilda Town Hall at 8pm on 7 April 1954. The lecture was to be illustrated by 'coloured lantern slides' and followed by a screening of the film 'Planning for Melbourne's Future'. The Melbourne Metropolitan Planning Scheme 1954: Report, compiled by the then Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Work, began the planning system for Melbourne. It planned for a population of 2.5 million in the 1990s, a population actually reached in the 1970s. .

Card to record contributions to the J. L. Williams Memorial Scholarship fund. The fund was established in the memory of Jack Williams, who was a teacher at the St Kilda School on Brighton Road for 24 years. Contributions were sought towards raising about 350 pounds to establish a perpetual scholarship awarded annually to a pupil of the school. Jack Williams is also remembered through the J. L. Williams Medal, first issued in 1931 by the Australian State/Secondary Schools' National Football Council (now awarded by School Sport Australia), in recognition of his efforts to establish what is now known as the School Sport Australia Championship. The award is given to the best and fairest footballer in the Championship.
