Jonathan Harris operated a winery on the banks of the Axe Creek, Axedale in the 1850s.

Physical description

A camp oven 31 centimetres diameter. It has three legs on the bottom which are three and a half centimetres long, The pot is 25 centimetres diameter on the bottom 13 centimetres high and 30 centimetres diameter at the top, It has a partly curved lid which is three centimetres high and has a one centimetre wide and seven centimetre long handle on top. Attached to the top of the pot is half centimetre diameter 70 centimetre long handle which extends 21 centimetres above the lid. Part of the Harris Collection.
