Standard issue beret as worn by the Royal Australian Corps of Signals during the conflict in Vietnam

Physical description

A dark blue woollen beret with bi-metal badge showing a silver figure of the Roman god Mercury on a globe, above a brass scroll bearing the motto 'CERTA CITO' (Swift and Sure) and a boomerang with the inscription 'AUSTRALIA'. Above that is a detached brass Queen's crown.
