Manufactured tool for use by one of the Melbourne cable tram operators, most likely the Melbourne Tramway and Omnibus Co, to stamp leather satchels and other items that had to be marked. See item 7678 for a "RICHMOND" stamp. Was extensively used given the deformation at the top of the punch.
