Rose Series postcard P.591, titled "Collins Street looking west, Melbourne" with W2 class tram No. 637 (Kew Depot, route 47) eastbound at Spring Street, about to turn into Macarthur Street. There is a policeman on point duty and a man walking across to the tram. On the left-hand side is a safety zone post. On the bottom left hand of the photo is a letter box or receiving pillar.
