Rose Series postcard No. P 591, titled "Collins Street looking west, Melbourne" with W2 class tram No. 637 (Kew Depot, route 47) eastbound at Spring Street, about to turn into Macarthur Street. There is a policeman on point duty and a man walking across to the tram. On the left-hand side is a safety zone post. On the bottom left hand of the photo is a letter box or receiving pillar.
