Historical information

Jaycees (Junior Chamber) was a prominent young professional and leadership development organisation in the mid-20th century. Like many other chapters, the Bendigo chapter was involved in local community projects and networking.

Physical description

A large wooden board with decorative top with sloping corners. On the top, in the middle, is a small wooden urn. Under the urn is a blue and silver enamelled shield that reads 'Member of Junior Chamber Of Commerce JCI'. The board lists, in gold writing, the dates, presidents and secretaries of the Bendigo Jaycees and at the bottom, a separate list of senators.
