Run as a shop by Mrs Treloar in early 1860s, Henry Nicholls (and his son E. H. Nicholls) from c.1870. Morgan family shop ('Linton Economic Store') early 1900s-1964 (J.H. Morgan c.1906-1930, R. H. Morgan 1930-1956, S.E. Morgan 1956-1964), Verdoorn family shop 1964-2008. Traded as variously named cafés between 2011 and 2023.
