The writing box is also in the LDHS collection - Registration no. 1478. It was presented to Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bennett in appreciation of her fundraising efforts for the church. Lizzie Bennett, later Mrs Todd, also served as church organist for many years.
Physical description
Black and white photograph of the top of the writing box which was presented to Miss Elizabeth Bennett by the congregation of St Paul's Church of England, Linton, in 1873. Photograph shows the inscription on the box.
