The photogrpah was taken on the occasion of the Ballarat Hospital Appeal Coronation Pageant, held on Tuesday 19 May 1931.

This photograph belonged to Lola Morgan, one of the flower girls in the picture. Lola Morgan married Ron Preston, their daughter Valma (Kerr) gave the photograph to the Society April 1997.
