Historical information

Florence May (Flossie) Bersey was born at Linton in 1884, a daughter of William Thomas Bersey and Sarah Ann Godden. Flossie died in Linton in 1906, age 21. She died of burns after her dress accidentally caught fire in the family's kitchen.
The man in the photograph with Flossie has not been identified.

Physical description

Black and white studio portrait of a young gentleman, seated, wearing suit, waistcoat, collar and tie with hands resting on laps, and lady in long outfit and large hat standing beside him with left hand resting on side table.
Card is affixed to grey-coloured card, which appears to have been trimmed with scissors. A roughly cut piece of lined paper is affixed to the back of the photo.
