Historical information
Charles Peter Nelson, the youngest son of Robert Simeon Nelson and his first wife Ann Dawe, was born 23 October 1882 at Linton.
He served in the army during WWI, was injured, and lost an arm.
He married Sarah Jane Willoughby in 1923, and lived all his life in Linton.
Photograph printed from a glass plate negative, found after death of the donor's uncle. Believed to be from collection of Augustus Titter (husband or son of Rose Dawe).
