Physical description

Souvenir album with signatures of many Linton residents, presented to Charles Roberts on the occasion of his departure from Linton. Wording of the first page of the album expresses appreciation of Charles Roberts' work with the Parish Hall, Public Library, Football, Cricket, Anglers' and Dramatic Clubs, Racing Club and other community organisations. An undated and unsourced newspaper article appended to inside back cover details the social occasion on which the album was presented. Two other small newspaper clippings dated 1937 and 1938 refer to Annie Roberts.

In gold inlay on front cover: " Presented to Charles W. Roberts, Esq. By His Friends in Linton and District February 4th, 1922".
