Historical information
Robert Cochrane, a son of Hugh Taylor Cochrane, was a Linton schoolteacher, and principal of Linton State School 1891-1895. If the photo has been correctly identified, it most likely shows Robert's daughter Winifred, born 1892, and his second wife Robenia ('Beni') nee Aitken (married 1899). Robert and Beni Cochrane also had two sons and three daughters.
