Historical information

A companion photograph which shows the older pupils in the same year is Registration number 315. The same dog is in both these photographs. Dating the photograph: This copy of the photograph (Registration no. 2015-12) was donated in 2014 by Peter Stapleton, who understood it was taken in 1919. However, a very damaged copy of the companion photograph (which has not been catalogued into the collection) is dated in an inscription "October 1918". Second Row L-R: 5-Jack Stapleton. Physical description

Copy of a black and white photograph of pupils thought to have been taken outside the Linton School in 1918 or 1919. Some pupils are identified on the back of the photograph.
