Historical information

The photograph was taken in Sussex Street, outside the home of Georgina and Bill Hall (formerly the Allan home). This house is currently 58 Sussex Street. At the time the photograph was taken, the house still had a small shop at the front, at one time used as a saddlery and leatherwork shop by George (Rozzie) Allan, Georgina Hall's brother.

Physical description

Small, faded, black and white photograph which shows a horse-drawn cart, with three adults sitting at the front, and children (and possibly other adults) in the back. The inscription on the back of the photo says this is Mrs. Hall, Jack Mark, Uncle Dick Atkins, and children "off for a picnic". The photograph is undated.
