Kitty Sandow, 1916-1984, was a daughter of Ruby and John (Jack) Sandow. Kitty began to manage her mother's grocery and confectionery store in Sussex Street during the 1940s. After Kitty married Reg Jennings in 1946, the shop became known as "Jennings' Milk Bar".
