Historical information
Thomas Kennedy was Linton's policeman from about 1865 to 1885. He served as a Shire of Grenville Councillor and was President on multiple occasions. He purchased farming land at Spring Vale (later known as Pittong) and named the property 'Fingal Park'. In retirement he built a house, 'Kin-Kora', in Cumberland Street, Linton.
He married Eliza Brophy in 1861 and they had thirteen children.The cemetery memorial names several of their children who died in childhood.
