The original photograph is in the collection of Max Kerr. He brought it to a "History Night" at LDHS in 2018, at which he was guest speaker.
Physical description
A photograph of a photograph of mine works, probably at Pitfield, most likely taken in the early twentieth century. The photographers' names "Millist & Hobb" and their location "Pitfield Plains" are printed on the photograph's card mount.
The photograph, taken on a sloping site, shows buildings, a poppet head, a chimney, timber rails and walkways, horses and workers.
