Historical information
The older daughter of Dr James Blair Donaldson Snr, Roberta Donaldson was born at Linton in 1891. She studied medicine at the University of Melbourne before working at the Melbourne Children's Hospital. She then spent three years practising in India. She was in private medical practice at Surrey Hills (Melbourne) from around 1920 to 1970.
Her sister Agnes Donaldson (1894-1977) also qualified as a doctor and practised with her at Surrey Hills.
