Tom Megee (who generally spelled his name as McGee) was a son of Thomas Megee and his wife Jane, née Head. He enlisted for military service during World War I under the name Thomas McGee. His military service record (SERN 3419) says his father was Thomas McGee of Linton, and that he had worked for Bennett's butchers in Linton before enlisting.
