Historical information

Following municipal amalgamations in 1994, the Shire of Grenville ceased to exist, and was incorporated into the Golden Plains Shire. The memorial is dedicated "to the Councillors, staff and residents who provided service, loyalty and support to the municipality over 130 years".
The photograph was taken in 2014 by Gary Hunt.

Physical description

Colour photograph showing memorial stone and plaque. The plaque has a map showing localities and boundaries of the former Shire of Grenville. It was erected outside the Golden Plains Shire Offices in Linton to commemorate the history and achievements of the former Shire.
