Historical information
The Old Lintonians' Association was formed in 1914, after a series of meetings held in 1913 considered the feasibility of organising a reunion of "old scholars and pioneers of Linton". The main goal of the association, as stated in its Constitution, was to organise annual reunions of former Linton residents, and former teachers and students of Linton School. It held reunions and "Back-to-Linton" events until the 1970s.
