Historical information

A set of 14 tickets that were used on the St Kilda to Brighton Electric Street Railway for the various sections, and one it appears for each possible journey. Has the fares printed on them and the ticket numbers. One sample missing. See reference pages 117 to 118 for details and various figures for examples. Used until 5/5/1921.

Significance

Yields information about the paper tickets used up to 1921 on the St Kilda Brighton tramway.

Physical description

Set of 14 paper tickets glue to a ruled sheet of foolscap paper. - the second ticket has one underneath.

Inscriptions & markings

"Prior to 5 May 1921" and "18 checks were in use"
