The Victory Medal was issued to Servicemen who entered any theatre of war between 5th August 1914 and 11th November 1918.

Inscriptions & markings
Obverse depicts the winged figure of Victory. Reverse shows a circle of laurel leaves surrounding the inscription " The Great War for Civilisation 1914 - 1919."
Service # 727.Dvr. A. Griffiths 7L.H.R (Light Horse Regiment) A.I.F. on edge of medal.
Trooper Angus Griffiths was hospitalised with gunshot wounds to his left arm and left thigh in an Egyptian hospital.
