Rose Series postcard P.564, titled "Swanston Street Melbourne", looking south from Little Bourke St. Has a number of trams in the view, W1 class 438 Route 15 to St Kilda Beach. Note the Tram Safety Zone with the lamp on the top. In the background are the Ezywalkin, Leviathan, F T Field and Steeles Furniture stores. The new Foys Department store on the left appears to be having its verandah fitted.
