Significance

Demonstrates a range of decimal currency tickets used by the Provincial Tramways of Victoria.

Physical description

Assorted State Electricity Commission Victoria tramway tickets post 14.2.1966. The tickets, known as "flimsies", have a decimal value of 18c. They are printed in colored inks on a cream paper background. The tickets cover either the City Section, or four sections in and out of the city. The tickets are individually numbered with an alphabet letter and a six digit identifying number.
