Photograph shows Y class tram No. 469 at Preston Workshops at the time of its entry into service June 1927. Designed and built by the MMTB. Has the timber rack in the background. This tram is on display at the Melbourne Tram Museum at Hawthorn Depot. See item 3161 for a published MMTB photo.
