Historical information
Images in the album are related to the laying of the foundation stone of St Vincent's new wing in 1928 as well as the royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of York in 1927. A loose newspaper clipping contained in the album titled "Fitzroy's Welcome" provides information on the royal visit which extended into Fitzroy, Collingwood and Richmond.
A minute photo on page 18 of the album shows an image of the royal yacht.
