This dress was purchased in Saigon by National Serviceman Gary Elliott before he returned home in 1969 for his then girlfriend, (later to be his wife). Gary served as a Craftsman in 102 Field Workshop, RAEME, in Vietnam 1968-69.
Physical description
Aqua silk traditional Vietnamese (dress) AO DAI. The dress has a peter pan collar with front opening secured by four covered buttons. A zipper runs along the side seam. The garment is lined with white silk.
