Headwear - Combat Vehicle Crewman's Helmet

The American -made Combat Vehicle Crewman's helmet was worn by crewmembers requiring access to a vehicle's communication system. The helmet was intended to offer head protection inside the vehicle but it did provide some protection against shrapnel.

Physical description

Khaki coloured helmet with chinstrap. Lined inside with black padding, it has built in earphones with attachments and plug connection and a small mounted microphone.
