Reminiscences of early nursing training of Ann Downey (Goodman) who commenced at the Children's Hospital in Carlton in 1950 but then changed to Bendigo in School3. There are two copies but pages 'd' and 'e' contain corrections in writing not noted in copies 'b' and 'c'. Mentions tutors: Miss Long, Margo Scott and Peg Donohue and doctors at Bendigo Hospital: her father Dr. Goodman, and Drs Slater, Sandner, Rosenthaal and Newson. After graduation in 1954 her first pay was '3 pounds'. She worked in Rochester. Darwin in the 60s, Sandringham Hospital and set up Southern Nursing Agency in 1971.
