Significance

Demonstrates the method of identifying MMTB employees.

Physical description

Round pressed brass badge with the words "Messenger" pressed into the centre of the badge, around the bottom portion of the badge, the letters "ES". Has a nickel-plated finish with the MMTB initials on the top part of the badge. On the rear of the badge, two metal lugs have been soldered onto the badge to enable it to be worn on a uniform with a leather strap on a button.
