The unused P.M. Diggers raffle book was found behind the mantlepiece when the donor was renovating 128 Evans Street, Port Melbourne. The Melbourne Cup Effort raffle was to be drawn on the 31st of October 1968. First prize was to the value of $300 while 4th prize was a mere $4.00. The cost of the ticket was a 10cent donation.
