The photograph shows VR tram 25 with uniformed tram crew standing on the ground beside the driver's cab entrance with the driver holding a hand rail. On the left is part of a chemist shop verandah and a picket fence. VR 25 originally operated on the broad gauge track from St Kilda Station to Brighton, then in 1919 was converted to standard gauge to operate on the Sandringham to Black Rock line. The location of this photograph may be in Bay St, Sandringham as the crew wait to turn the corner into the Station St terminus at the station entrance.
