Dr Rowden White from St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne testifies of his "very high opinion of Miss Ousley's qualifications". Her manner "will always be helpful in winning the confidence of her patients". He states she is "capable of holding the position of Sister to any large hospital". Marguerite would have used this reference when serving in the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Nursing Service Reserve, in France in World War 1.
