Notebook containing 18 pages of cuttings from The Age or The Argus of the cable tram traffic returns for each month, unless not seen by the collector. Gives the Date, newspaper cutting source, receipts, passengers carried and mileage, along with whether it was an increase or decrease from the previous report. Commenced Nov. 1912 and finished Nov. 1917. Inside the front cover is a table by year of Miles open, Passengers carried and traffic receipts for 1901 to 1909 for both Melbourne and Sydney.

Demonstrates a collection of newspaper cuttings report on the cable tram performance from Nov. 1912 to Nov. 1917.
